I asked my students to make a list of all the vocabulary they would like to use in class and we made this table. Everything was included, what makes the table so appealing for them to use. You can edit the table with your students, make some copies and laminate them. I handle them to be shared between small groups at the beginning of each lesson. I hope you will find it useful.

At the beginning of a new academic year or term it is essential to look back at our achievements and weaknesses in order to move on. I use these two sheets with my students for self performance reflection and goal setting. Adding clear action is key to make those goals to become true. These sheets could be homework that will share and discuss with the whole group next lesson. It could be the case that the whole group has one goal in common and therefore the action strategy could be an act of group effort and support. This little booklet can be used each term during one academic year by students to reflect and record what and how they have been developing their Learner profile attributes and approaches to learning during their LA lessons. The limited space provided will help them to write more precisely. It can be printed and kept at the back of their books.
