I'm a primary music teacher with over 12 years experience. Over this time I've often been asked by teachers to find a song for a particular topic in a class assembly through science, history and literature. I often end up writing my own songs and now I'm sharing them to a wider audience. All of my songs have been tried, tested, developed and performed with great success. I am offering the performance and backing tracks, sheet music and lyrics.

Rocks and Soils, a song for lower KS2

(0)
As the subject suggests, this rock song illustrates the entire year 3 curriculum for rocks and soils. The children sing this punchy melody in a 2 part round with rhythmic actions to help them remember all of the scientific facts. This song has proven to be very popular indeed and is a year 3 favourite. Ice! The watercycle song for KS2

As well as teaching us about the water cycle, this exciting rock song progresses into a 3 part round, showing the cycle itself in song form. This is a real favourite for all KS2 children to perform, and there are ample opportunities for the children to choreograph their own dance breaks.
