Teeth - Taking Care of Them and correcting them. PowerPoint + 31 Ways Of Using Resource in Class

You could look at it directly as a presentation and discuss the different activities being shown in each of the photos. This display shows you what a trip to a dentist is like, and why it is important to look after your teeth. There are lots of different discussions you can have with your class, including having false teeth and the importance of wearing braces when young. This pack contains a 31 Teaching Activity Teacher Guide using these photo flash cards. These activities are quick and fun to do and will improve both your students' memory and vocabulary skills. You could print off and laminate the photos to make an interesting, eye-catching display about Teeth. The students could also take the laminated photos and sort them into different Teeth related activities and objects. The students can then discuss why they think each one is important. The photos could also be used as prompts for creative writing, factual writing or descriptive writing.

All about me pennant - Getting to know you activity + Thinking Hat Reflection Sheet

(0)
You simply print off this pennant at the beginning of the year as a Getting to know you activity. I like the idea of laminating them and placing them directly above the different groups of children. The children can quickly learn more about each other. The students have a chance to set themselves a fun target to achieve in the year. At the end of the year the students can then look again at their targets and see if they have achieved their goals. This could also make a very homework task. Get them to build up their pennants using different materials from around the home. I added a reflection sheet for times children are not quite as good as you would like.

Wordless Stories - Going to buy a book

(0)
Summary A brother and sister buy books at a local book store. This reading, writing, speaking pack uses both a worksheet and a presentation to help students to understand and develop a story. The presentation comes complete with all the images from the book and a link to the original free book online. I developed this teaching pack purely for my own class as I was asked to encourage my ESL class to speak more and to develop a story in their own words. They can then compare their sentences with the original stories. This would also be an excellent resource for anyone studying life in India.

I have combined two different presentations about food with a set of 31 different teaching activities you can try in the classroom. The activities are short, fun and easy to organise. They will help to improve your students' vocabulary and memory skills. I added these resource to help you get more out of each purchase you make with me. You could print off and laminate the photos to make an interesting, eye-catching display about The World of Cheeses. The students could also take the laminated photos and sort them into different types of cheese. The students can then discuss which cheese they like and how they eat them. The photos could also be used as prompts for creative writing, factual writing or descriptive writing.

Anti Stress Colouring Book - Enjoy some colouring therapy.

(0)
Teachers need some fun to. This is my adult colouring book for teachers. You could print it out for your class to quietly colour during tests (when they have completed them to calm and relax them), or during long staff meetings - nothing is more relaxing and constructive than a little light colouring. This is to encourage staff to have a little time every day to think and reflect and not work. This is my attempt at improving the good life balance of staff. All these images were in the public domain. In the majority of the cases however, it took both a long time to find, then even longer to use editing software to sharpen and improve the images. I would love to know what people think of them.

3D Monthly Desktop Targets Pyramid, Motivational Quotes And Positive Behaviour System

(0)
Make target setting an interactive, hands on activity! This ideas is based on a simple 3D square based pyramid net. There is space on each side for students to write down their monthly English, Maths and Social targets. There is also a space for their name and something they learnt in the previous month. I added the motivational quotes so students appreciate what they are learning towards. I added the positive behaviour system, where the students move around the track each time they achieve their pyramids targets! The harder they work, the faster they move around the track. Lots of fun for everyone! I have created this worksheet in black and white so teachers can either print them on white paper or onto different coloured papers, the idea being to change the colour of the pyramid every month, so everyone knows which pyramid they should now be following.

September 4 Science Pack - Skeletons, Teeth and Senses PowerPoint and Display Material

(0)
I have created 4 great teaching packs for Science: Animal Skeleton Bones, Human Skeleton Bones, Teeth and Your Senses. You can download these packs, print them off and have an instant wonderful display. Alternatively, you would use them as PowerPoint presentations within a lesson to introduce or review a topic. They make excellent talking prompts for the class! Animal Skeletons: See different examples of animal bones. How are they similar? How do they differ from each other? There are bones of fish, whales, snake and cows, to mention just a few. Human Skeletons: Here is a nice resource pack which contains a lot of the different bones students need to learn about. The photos are fantastic. Teeth: This includes what we need to have nice teeth and a few photos of what happens if we are not careful with our teeth. There are also some animal pictures so you can discuss animal teeth shapes. Senses: A nice teaching pack about our 5 senses. This would make an excellent display or sorting activity.

Teaching students how to run or hide in a terrorist attack - Child friendly booklet.

(0)
After the Paris terrorist attack, good advice came out from homeland security on what to do if you face an attack. However it was focused on adults and not child friendly. I thought I would create a simple book which explains to children what is now recommended in the case of an active shooter attack. You should however still point out that this is an incredibly unlikely event - but one students now need to be prepared for.
