Students know to understand the word refugee and put it into context. to be able to use a stimulus to create a devised performance to understand how the devising process can be used to develop a performance to be able to show empathy towards the personal stories discussed that a variety of performance skills are involved when devising that authentic facial expressions are the key to conveying emotions Students can feedback a descriptive explanation of the purpose of devising theatre evaluate a group performances using 2 wishes and a star recognise the key concepts of devising and apply them to their own work understand the plight and treatment of a refugee entering UK understand the importance of the time period (1998-2000) to Alem.
