Lesson 2 - Species Extinction (Used with 11-14 students) The second lesson in my Conservation scheme of learning. This looks at the extinction of the Dodo. Lesson is fully resourced with a powerpoint and worksheet. The following lessons look at extinction, mapping biodiversity, threats and a range of animal case studies e.g. bush meat. Rainforest Management Campaign A planning a rainforest campaign lesson. Students analyse a range of different campaigns, then plan their own, and eventually peer assess each others. This can be used as a lesson before they actually create their own campaigns. In my previous examples of delivering this lesson students have created Posters, Instagram accounts and videos.
