I use this to clearly evidence an overview of what teaching I have completed over the week. This links nicely to the individual lesson planning template I have uploaded.

This is my daily planning template that I use to show an in-depth view of each of my lessons. I use it for Early Years planning at the minute, but it could easily be adapted for the National Curriculum. For PGCE students, it clearly shows what the activity links to, the learning outcomes, how the activity can be differentiated, prior learning and the role of additional adults.

Weekly planning focused on ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ based on the children’s interests. This was planned to cover a range of aspects from the EYFS.

Basic maths MTP for Early Years outlining maths games (ideally for circle time or small groups) with links to Birth to 5. It covers counting, cardinality, shape, etc.

This template will allow you to clearly show what you’re observing, what your actions were, and the next steps for the child. I use this to note any in the moment learning or where I observed a child meeting a prior next step.

I used this in reception to help children recognise tricky word ‘I’, while also practicing blending for reading using that week’s new sounds.
