**Who was to blame for the Cold War?**.
A full lesson focusing on the causes of the Cold War. A great lesson for all KS4 students but here is being used as part of my Cold War topic. Suitable for both British curriculum and the international curriculum.

KS3/KS4 lesson on the transatlantic slave trade - part of a series of lessons. This focuses on seizure and transport of slaves - why did African’s help capture their own people? How were they transported to USA?

Lesson 3: Islam in the Medieval Ages: Importance of Jerusalem
This is the third in a series of lessons focusing on the Golden Age of Islam. This topic will be looking at the importance of Islam throughout history, ending with study of the Crusades.
This has been developed for KS3 students in mind, but could be adapted for KS2 or even KS4 students.

Lesson 3 has a focus on the importance of Jerusalem to give students an understanding of why the crusades happened.
A full set of lessons (maybe 2 depending on how able your class are to complete the work) focusing on the immigration changes and laws in 1920s USA.
Focuses on the Red Scare, laws that were in place, reasons why, impacts upon different communities and allows students to work using information, sources, cartoon and videos.

Students study different significant women and complete a World Cup style knockout where they pit one woman against each other in different rounds to find their ultimate ‘Significant woman’.
Evaluation of the strenghts of different women allows for discussion and interpretation. Good way to encourage students to discuss and use different skills.
