I love to sing! And I love to see children enjoy singing. That's why I write songs which I hope kids will enjoy singing as much as I love writing and teaching them. All songs come with performance and backing tracks as well as scores so you can start singing as soon as possible. Enjoy!

Oats And Beans

This is a lovely traditional song I have set to lively music. It works really well with actions and tells the story of how a farmer plants his seeds and watches them grow. 'Oats and beans and barley grow...do you or I or anyone know how oats and beans and barley grow?' I've added the slower backing so it's easier to get the words in.

Dinosaurs!

An upbeat song describing a few of the more popular dinosaurs. 'Triceratops with horns and frill, Stegosaurus and Pterodactyl...' With piano score, performance, backing track and lyric sheet. Good for a few stomp and chomp actions too!

This song is based on the popular story by Michael Rosen: We're Going On A Bear Hunt. It closely follows the text of the original story and is suitable for listening to or singing along to. We Wish You a Merry Christmas Backing Track

(4)
I have made this to use in the schools I teach in and thought it might be useful for other people to use in their Christmas celebrations. I've included the copy of the lyrics as they fit the music - the same music is repeated three times.

Tudor song- Don't Forget Lady Jane Grey!

(7)
This is a fun song about the Tudor kings and queens. I’ve tried to create a medieval feel with the music too so I hope it’s more than just a song about facts. 'Henry the Seventh killed Richard the Third, First time the Tudor name was heard, Had two sons but his first son, Arthur died, So Henry the Eighth was the one who survived’… 'Lady Jane Grey, the nine days Queen, Shortest reign you’ve ever seen, Went to the block, her head went splat, ‘Cos Bloody Mary took the throne and that was that!’…

Trains And Planes

How do you want to travel today? A lively song about the different ways we get around today. Chorus: Trains and planes and bicycles and cars, boats and scooters, a rocket to Mars (whoosh!), carriages, coaches, fast or slow, anyhow, anywhere, go! Go! Go!
Castles

Castles

(17)
This is a thoughtful song about the stories and history of castles. I hope it will provoke discussion about what castles were used for and about how they are portrayed in stories as well as their role in our documented history.
