This lesson can easily be lengthened for two seperate hour long lessons if needed. The students reacted very positively to this lesson.
This is a 60 minute lesson on religious symbols which goes through each of the major 6 religious symbols for pupils to explore, copy down, colour and learn about. This can be adapted for a longer or a shorter lesson. It contains a true or false quiz, discussion, written and extension activities. It was originally a Year 7 lesson but can be used across the whole of KS2 or KS3 (7-18 years old).
