Each week display one of the posters and add points for each pupil who uses the chosen ‘Frase de la semana’ in the right context. This resource has been made for preschool and Primary level but can be adapted for all age groups. Here a set of challenge cards for the Spanish/French classroom. They include a variety of different tasks which pupils can complete as an additional challenge for early finishes. I would recommend laminating the cards and cutting them up, they can be presented in a gift bag for pupils to choose at random.

This game is ideal for the preparation of the role-play card section of the GCSE speaking exam. Game works well in pairs or small groups of 3 or 4.

I recently observed a maths lesson with this game and therefore decided to create it Spanish. It is a fantastic game and kids get extremely competitive. This game could be used as an end of term lesson or a treat lesson after an assessment. Here is a worksheet that allows pupils to think about adverbs of frequency/time phrases) that are required for each tense. Pupils must figure out the translation of these phrases and decide which tense or tenses this time phrase can be applied to. For less able pupils/lower ability classes English is provided for them and they can than allocate time phrases to the appropriate part.
