Having 30 children finishing their maths work at different times can sometimes be stressful. Trust me, I have been there! BUT having pre-prepared maths puzzles for those super early finishers can be really helpful. These mental maths word searches allow your pupils to practice their mental maths skills whilst having some fun! The chillies at the top of the puzzles dictate the level of the puzzle: Green Chilli x 5 = Easier Yellow Chilli x 5 = Harder Red Chilli x 5 = Hardest This specific bundle is catered for year 3/4 (UK) and 2nd/ 3rd grade (US) but can be used in any year above the age of 7! This escape room (in Powerpoint format) is a great activity to do as a whole class. It focuses on solving riddles and general knowledge questions as a team to escape the locked room! As a teacher, I loved giving this for my pupils to do because they were engaged for the entire time whilst learning how to work well as a team. This escape room includes: Riddles (including a picture riddle) General knowledge questions Interactive padlocks Interactive buttons Interactive picture reveal activity- clicking on the tiles to reveal the image for pupils to guess and escape! Recommendation: I have personally used this escape room as a skills building activity and lasted 30 minutes.
