Learning objective(s) • I will learn the note names on the keyboard and using the correct fingers and hand position • I will learn the note names and durations • I will learn to read the notes to play a song on the keyboard 18 slides with photos showing the hand and finger positions on the piano. 3 songs with notes Students will be able to choose the right level for themselves. This activity is differentiated into 3 levels. Low ability students can choose to practice the basics using only 3 notes and fingers with minims. Ability students can choose to practice the second tune using crotchets and 3 fingers and higher ability students can practice playing the third song using crotchets and 5 finger position notes C, D, E, F and G.
