There are a variety of different sentence structures to help develop children’s writing. It starts with building a sentence using the colour and then going on to writing the sentence with the ‘little words’ added in. These can be used to help Key Stage 2 use colourful semantics in a way that will help develop their writing and create more detailed sentences independently.
