A LEVEL Maths - Radians & Degree conversion ( also used for Transition masterclass Year 10 /11) Includes : Crossing the bridge problem solving starter - from NRICH ( website linked has an animation which students can get up and try on interactive boards) Introducting to different units of measure - students asked to brainstorm different measurements they know. Explanation the 3 different measurements for angles Proof of how big 1 radian is Examples of conversions and worksheet for students to create their own examples. Tables conversion race Challenge finding all angles in complicated shape. Plenary linking to triangles. Everything provided, notes given in footers and all answers fully animated and included.
