Creative Writing - Abandoned Factory lesson series

(0)
A series of 7 resourced lessons including a creative writing helpsheet (originally created for middle ability students but can be adapted), and WAGOLLs for both a language and a structure analysis based on the students’ narratives. The lessons walk the students ‘through’ the factory and gives them the opportunities to break down their plotline and learn how to build up narrative detail. This works well with students who rush their narratives or struggle to think of things to include. There is also a link to sound effects to immerse the students into the factory which helps them ‘hear’ and visualise the setting better and encourage them to include that in their descriptions as well.
