Make a funny flap book or reading game using early Read Write Inc words and pre cursive font. This was made as a fun activity to use at school and during remote learning periods. The first page is an explanation aimed at helping parents to understand how to make the book or game, but it can easily be completed at school as well. The game sheets are made using a pre cursive font as that was the style of handwriting used at school. It was felt beneficial for the pupils to try reading this style too. It could be used as an example to encourage older pupils to make their own flap books. As it took quite a while to create this, it is hoped it may be of some use to aid others in their learning.
