For use with a guided reading group, this sheet can easily be used to record and assess the children’s responses against the TAFs. A Word document which can be amended to suit with more columns easily added for larger groups than 4.
This Maths Assessment sheet covers all the TAF for Year 2 (end of KS1) in a clear format showing WT, Exp and GD. Simply print one off per child and tick and date in the correct box to evidence 3 pieces of work for each statement.
This pdf is intended for KS1 children, specifically Year 2 to help them count in 2s, 5s, 10s and 3s. It can be printed in colour and either laminated as an A4 desk mat or folded and laminated to show the number line jumps on one side and the 100 number squares on the other. Included is also a ‘blank’ version for the children to add the jumps themselves, continue the numbers in the 3s sequence as well as colouring the three 100 squares to show the 2s, 5s and 10s pattern.
This pdf contains two Fact Family Mats which can be printed in colour and laminated as single sheets or back-to-back. Aimed at KS1, on one side the children can use double-sided red and yellow counters to make the calculation e.g. 7 + 4 using 7 red counters and 4 yellow counters. They can then work out the addition and subtraction facts using the colours to help them: Addition Facts 7 + 4 = 11 4 + 7 = 11 11 = 7 + 4 11 = 4 + 7 Subtraction Facts 11 - 7 = 4 11 - 4 = 7 7 = 11 - 4 4 = 11 - 7 The other side of the mat contains a bar model and part-whole model to give children practise in different representations.
