This is a template for focusing on cause and effect, in particular to use with the new OCR spec for GCSE on the British Depth study of the Elizbethan poverty. Template can be adapted to suit other topics however that want to develop this important second order concept.

Starter looking at poverty in the Elizabethan times, specifically the new question for GCSE OCR SHP history in which students have to investigate a line of enquiry about a source. Using 4 pictures of poverty then and now students have to generate 5 questions and draw a conclusion as to what the lesson is about.
