This cut-out wheel will allow students to use the most common French verbs with ease, ranging from être and avoir to the three regular endings of -ER, -IR and -RE which are written in red to be more recognisable. To create the wheel, simply cut out both circles and the box on the front page. At this point you can decide whether to laminate them or not. (Tip: Print the front cover on a different colour paper/card, so that students can easily find the tense they need) Once you have cut everything out, stick them together by putting a paper fastener through both X’s. Other tenses are available.

A display of words/phrases in French based on whether they are deemed basic, intermediate or higher, to help students improve their usable range. During a discussion on how to improve the GCSE grades of students in their speaking and writing, a list of key phrases were given to help visualize a students next steps. This display is differentiated by colour so as to to help easily identify what word or phrase the student should try to incorporate next into their work. This could easily be turned into a homework or ebi’s so as to push them into using more complex sentence structures.
