Recently updated with a new cover for 2019 and a few more worksheets added. This is suitable for both KS1 and KS2. A PDF file children will be recollecting their achievements from the previous year and will se targets for the new term. They will be looking at choices, rules and friendship and ways to improve work. There are Individual worksheets which can be printed out separately and others when children will work with a partner for talking and listening. Some of the sheets are easier than others so will be good for differentiation. The workbook can be printed out as an entire booklet or as individual sheets for wall display purposes.

Looking for Mindset stories for PSHE? This original set of three stories written by me is a great 26 page resource. It consists of three very different animal stories. Each story has an element of being unable to do well in a particular thing. There are question sheets to discuss or writwe answers to. The stories can be read to the children as a talking and listening lesson or can be printed out to use with three different groups to read and discuss. The animals are Marley the monkey who can't swing, Benjamin Bunny who can't hop and Freda Flatfish who has a talent she didn't know about. Very suitable for EYFS and KS1.

This is a 24 page PDF file to be printed out and used before reading the book, while reading the book and after reading the book. It is printer friendly as I have used very few colour graphics. It is suitable for KS2. A powerpoint has also been included. There are a variety of writing activities which can be printed out as an entire booklet for each child or as individual pages for working walls. I have tried to empathise with the characters especially August. In the workbook I have asked the children to look at the traits and feelings of the characters, their own feelings, to imagine they themselves are August and to write conversations and argumentative writings.Bullying and Bravery must also be written about by the children. I have also included designing a new cover, writing a book blurb, a book review and favourite character and part of the story. An essential resource for a fabulous book.

A great resource for KS2 to discuss together as a class using the powerpoint presentation, in groups for differentation or as indivdual workbooks. Black and white resource. PSHE we all have choices to make and children find these as difficult as adults. Choosing to follow school rules, think for yourself, save or spend, tell the truth, what to eat, choosing friends. Dilemmas:- children will write or discuss cheating, bullying, accidental damge, finding money and incorrect change. The final page is cooperation.
