I was a Primary School teacher for 29 years in Key Stage 1 and 2. My aim is to produce child friendly worksheets and resources to cover all areas of the curriculum. I am particularly interested in language and writing. I write my own stories and poetry, have had these published and will incorporate many into my Literacy resources. This 22 page PDF file is ideal for follow up work after reading Who Let The Gods Out by Maz Evans.There are a selection of writing, drawing and research tasks all in black and white. These tasks can be printed out individually for differentation or as a complete workbook for each child. They have a similar format to my Roald dahl resources. Activities include: Descriptive and creative writing, creating poetry, writing news broadcast scripts, diary entries, book reviews, favourite characters and research skills working with a partner to create factfiles. A 32 page PDF file for KS1or Lower KS2, based on Enid Blyton's Book The Enchanted Wood. This can be used for differentation if printed out as separate worksheets or can be given to the children as complete workbooks. There are a variety of writing and drawing tasks including, poetry writing, descriptive and imaginative writing, recall of parts of the story, character studies and sentence construction. There is also a sheet involving speech marks. Children are asked to write a review of the book. Science is also included, senses, solids and liquids, animals and the habitat Woods. Children are asked to use the Internet to find out facts about the author. A great resource saving teacher preparation time.

The children are asked to research the internet after reading facts and information about the World Cup, its host and the teams involved. There are also a variety of numeracy and literacy activities including multiplication, division, function boxes,dictionary work, spelling activities and looking at healthy lifestyle and diet. This is a 24 page PDF file to be printed out and used before reading the book, while reading the book and after reading the book. It is printer friendly as I have used very few colour graphics. It is suitable for KS2. A powerpoint has also been included. There are a variety of writing activities which can be printed out as an entire booklet for each child or as individual pages for working walls. I have tried to empathise with the characters especially August. In the workbook I have asked the children to look at the traits and feelings of the characters, their own feelings, to imagine they themselves are August and to write conversations and argumentative writings.Bullying and Bravery must also be written about by the children. I have also included designing a new cover, writing a book blurb, a book review and favourite character and part of the story. An essential resource for a fabulous book.

A great SpaG Resource which I have produced in colour and in black and white. I have also included a powerpoint presentation for classroom use, this could be used by the teacher to model writing. There is a set of instructions. Includes: choose a character, a setting, a time, a characteristic, an event, an object, a verb, an adjective and an adverb. The children will pick one from each card and create their own sentences or perhaps a short story. This will also be a useful tool during guided reading time as it can be used with groups. also super for differentation. The final page is a SPag Tick List.

It is a PDF file consisting of a series of my own photographs taken in various locations from Montreal to The Rockies, including views of Niagara Falls, Thousand Islands, Native American Totem Poles and Lake Louise. These are suitable for all age groups, there are no notes but all photographs are labelled and there is a discussion wordmat included. They can be used for art classes,Geography looking at landscapes, glaciation and History of the people of Canada. These examples of landscapes in Canada would be useful as a resource for class discussion comparing the children's location with Canada. These could also be used as writing prompts or for display in the classroom.
