A pentomino is made of five equally sized squares connected edge-to-edge. There are 12 distinct pentomino shapes. The pentominoes are manipulated (rotated/flipped) to solve puzzles.
This packet contains a workbook with 8 fun activities and 24 pentomino puzzles that you can use in your learning centers, early finishers station, and team games.
There are two sets that can be used at the same time to provide differentiated options for different students.
Pentomino Set 1
This set contains puzzles that show the individual outlines of the shapes. You can use them for beginners level.
Pentomino Set 2
This set contains puzzles without the individual outlines of the shapes. You can give these puzzles to students who are more advanced or who want more challenge.
Choose the set you want to use in class. Print them on letter-size paper and laminate for durability.
Please note that black and white versions are also available to save ink.
