These are three powerpoints which were created for a group of English students aged 16 who struggled to enjoy English. They would equally be suitable for groups between 12 and 16 or adults with learning difficulties. They are designed to inspire fun lessons with lots of interaction before they start to write.

This is a workbook of 6 pages to be used in conjunction with other activities over a whole day of a training course or similar. It is aimed at those considering starting a business or young people thinking of this as just an option.

This is a mix of 20 questions for Functional Skills Maths learners of all ages. The questions are real-life questions that enable team discussion to find the correct answer. This is a great starter activity or a good ice-breaker for a new class. Answers are included, but two would need to be adjusted if and when facts change. It is good to put a time limit on this one, but also to allow learners to search some of the answers on the computer or their phones.
