Music Technology A-Level (Edexcel)
This is a 34-page compilation of all Unit 2 and Unit 4 past paper questions relating to instruments and equipment (incl. all Unit 4 Question 4).
E.g. Unit 2 2009 Q5b: “What percussive sounds other than a drum kit are used to drive the rhythm on this track?”.
E.g. Unit 4 2016 Q4b: “Figure 1 shows delay, wah-wah and distortion guitar pedals. Explain the function of the pedals and the controls that can be seen in the picture.”
Naturally, all these questions are freely available online, but you can save yourself hours of time sifting through them. However, you will need to check the Mark Schemes for answers.

Another great quiz that will help your students practise for the Unit 3 listening exam. Can also be used as a more interesting way to learn vocabulary.
This 4-page quiz about The Hunt from the original Planet of the Apes can be used as a teaching method or assessment. It has been created with Eduqas AoS 3 objectives in mind, covering important questions such as the composer's use of the stimulus, as well as a wide range of vocabulary covering all elements of music. This quiz was designed in conjunction with the Edexcel Anthology of Music first published in 2000 (the A-level score) and asks questions about specific bar numbers, but most questions can be answered without the score by simply listening to the hyperlinked excerpts and a bit of extra preparation. I have not included a copy of the score for copyright reasons. Either way, you will not regret buying this!
