Lesson designed using the following IGCSE / Edexcel learning objectives: Lesson Objectives: 3.1 Know that chemical reactions in which heat energy is given out are described as exothermic in which heat energy is taken in are described as endothermic 3.5C Draw and explain energy level diagrams to represent exothermic and endothermic reactions The objectives are quite similar to the AQA version, and so this lesson would be suitable for AQA as well. Lesson scaffolds the necessary knowledge required for energy level diagrams. Gives GCSE exam style questions to wrap up the lesson at the end. I’ve included a detailed lesson plan for how I would use this resource. Please let me know your feedback.
