Meaningful teaching and learning, being alive in any real sense of the word, is all about your "deeds": discovering, exciting, engaging, developing and sharing. I really enjoy online / hybrid teaching. This allows me to adopt a collaborative, learner-prioritized, self-paced approach to teaching and learning. I try to produce resources to inspire fellow teachers to do the same.

Assessment reflection form

Have you just finished grading a paper-based test or examination? Ready to hand back to the students? Worried that they are going to do a “glance-and-go” instead of reflecting on their performance? Perhaps this free resource is for you. This editable document helps your students to record and reflect on their performance in a test or an examination. It also generates additional information for student and teacher that could improve performance in future tests and examinations. This form takes the process of reflection beyond writing hasty (and often illegible) corrections in the margin of the student’s answer sheet. Although it is marked for Social Science and Language Arts, this resource can be used in any subject that makes use of assessments besides essay-type questions. It also works just as well as a shareable document.
