Dr Davies is a Fellow of the Society for Teaching and Learning. With over thirty years experience in teaching and educational leadership, which he studied at Doctoral level, he is a Senior Coach with the National Institute for School Leadership in Washington DC. Dr Davies studied English at Cambridge University, and has a distinguished career in Education and Social Services providing Trauma Informed (TIE) solutions and Counseling in the UK, USA, East Africa and South and Central Asia. He is a secondary school Board Member and worked as an OECD administrator focusing on Curriculum and cognitive learning. He was the convener of a major OECD conference (OECD; Paris 1990), that initiated an international enquiry into how children learn to think and think to learn.
