I am learning to make whole turns, half turns and quarter turns. I can recognise an object after quarter of a turn. I can recognise an object after half a turn. I can recognise an object after a full turn so it is back in it’s original position. I can turn and draw an object for quarter, half and full turn.

2 worksheets on turns. First children work out if the turn made has been clockwise or anti-clockwise... they are then presented with shapes/pictures and are asked to draw it when it has made a clockwise/anti-clockwise turn.

A variety of resources created to support the teaching of measures in maths.... the tasks allow the children to advance and master each section of the curriculum. There are chances to explain through writing and reasoning.
