The resource includes grammar and vocabulary based activities, and allows pupils to revise key skills: grammar, translation, reading, writing and listening. For the listening activities, I just spoke Spanish aloud to the class & made my own transcript.

This pack contains enough resources on Film and Cinema to cover at least 3 lessons! It includes a detailed powerpoint and accompanying worksheets. It covers types of films, different opinion phrases and adjectives, comparatives and superlatives, and detailed high-level cinema language (eg. sound-track, script, plot etc.). It steadily builds pupils towards writing and producing their own film review / summary, as well as translating a high-level text on the topic of film and cinema. The worksheet where pupils watch a film clip can be used alongside ANY films you like - that bit is up to you! :)

The activities include gap fill exercises, translation activities, listening tasks and an example 90 word writing exam question. At the end of the lesson there is a vocabulary revision game which includes pupils remembering and revision vocabulary from a range of topic areas.

2-PAGE WORKSHEET FINE ONCE PRINTED - IMAGE OF BOTH SHEETS PROVIDED I made this worksheet as cover work for my middle-set Year 8 group. It is on the topic of film and TV, and tests pupil knowledge of different types of TV shows and film genres. Pupils get to practice their reading, writing and translation skills whilst simultaneously reinforcing their vocabulary. Pupils could complete this sheet either as cover-work, or as homework revision. The extension task involves using a Spanish dictionary to look up particular words in order to translate the literal translation of different TV shows.

This power-point and accompanying worksheet focus on the irregular present tense. This could be used with GCSE pupils or KS5 pupils to recap the changes that occur in some present tense verbs. The resources here are enough to cover 2 or 3 lessons on the topic of irregular present tense and they include activities such as translation, card sorting, reading, gap-fill activities and verb drills.
