Attached is a lesson on The kidney. It was designed for the AQA triple Science course on the kidney. There are also a range of exam questions on the kidney.

Attached is a power point containing a summary of transpiration in three steps. Students should use this summary to complete their own storyboard. A template is also attached where students should: 1. Use the posters to complete your storyboard on the process of transpiration. 2. Colour the plant in blue to show where the water is during each stage. 3. Label where the xylem and stomata would be on the plant. These resources are aimed for low ability year 9-11 students.

The lesson includes all resources for a lesson on blood glucose and diabetes. it can be used for both KS3 and KS4. Resources include: 1. Blood glucose levels information sheets 2. Diabetes information sheets. 3. Presentation on blood glucose control 4. Lesson plan 5. Worksheet/ storyboard for students to complete. 6. Grade A stretch and challenge exam question. 7. This resource covers plant tissues and organs, transport systems in plants, transpiration, translocation and factors affecting transpiration. It is designed as a revision or summary lesson and is aimed at high/middle ability classes. It can be edited to suit all abilities.

The resource is a summary sheet covering cell transport. It includes Diffusion, Osmosis, Active transport and exchanging materials. It is aimed for higher ability but can be adapted for any class. The page numbers refer to the new AQA Oxford books, third edition (A. Fullick and A.Coates 2016)

Students will need 1 hour or more to complete the research task on cancer on a computer. All relevant links are included.

Attached is a cut and stick respiration task aimed for lower abilities and EAL.

The power point includes 8 summary/revision sheets which students can work through and complete, they can take up to 8 lessons to fully complete. My students have completed these in class and have loved them! They can be used for revision for the end of year or for end of unit assessments. The page numbers refer to the OXFORD AQA GCSE book (Third edition) The topics include: 1. Cell structure 2. Communicable diseases 3. Adaptations, interdependence and competition. 4. Organisation of an ecosystem. 5. Non- communicable diseases.
