Assembly aimed towards secondary school students. Currently targeted towards Year 11 students although it can be altered. Presenter notes written for you to follow and understand. Areas for you to insert images of your DSLs/DSPs. Covers some Protective Behaviours, Risky Behaviours, Safeguarding, Looking after Yourself and Others, your own wellbeing, Stress, etc.

Assembly I have created for my year group on Valentine’s Day. Suitable for any age but ideally secondary school students. Uses up to date research to share with the students, guidance and advice on their wellbeing on Valentine’s Day, and some brief history of what Valentine’s Day is all about. Gives opportunity for questions and sharing discussion within assembly too.

This has been written as a tutor session for International Day Of Happiness (20th March every year). However, this can easily also be an Assembly or form part of a PSHE lesson. This could be approximately 20-30 minutes long.

Year 11 Assembly (although can be changed for other year groups). This focuses on mental health without telling the students that. The aim is to get students to change their emotions during the assembly so that they become happier, and then understand how their happiness can then change their outlook on optimism, success, and achievement. You need to add a couple of your own photos to make it more personal, but the assembly includes a lot of teacher notes on the presenter pages. Utilise the pictures and links to music to help.
