TSL Education Ltd is celebrating eight nominations across six of the most prominent Business Media categories in the PPA Magazines 2009 Awards for editorial and publishing excellence.
Named PPA Business media brand of the year in 2008, the Times Educational Supplement (TES) is once more short listed in the Business media brand category; TES Connect (TES.co.uk) is nominated in the Business website of the year category and TES writers Kenny Frederick and Mike Kent are both shortlisted for the Columnist of the year.
TSL’s Times Higher Education (THE) magazine is short listed in the prestigious Weekly business magazine category. Editor Ann Mroz is a contender for Editor of the year (business media), while THE correspondent Laurie Taylor has secured TSL's third nomination in the Columnist of the year category. Managing Director Louise Rogers secured a fourth nomination for THE - for Publisher of the year (business media) for the time she spent in 2008 overseeing the title prior to the appointment of Publisher Ian Eckert.
Winners will be announced at a gala dinner on Tuesday 30 June 2009 at Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
