Decimals - Functional Skills Maths - Entry Level 2

This resource has been designed for students working towards Functional Skills Maths qualifications at Entry Level 2 (Edexcel-Pearson, NCFE, City and Guilds, AQA, Highfield Qualifications, NOCN, Open Awards). It contains an age-appropriate, 100+ slide PowerPoint lesson and a 37 Page workbook on decimals. Outcome 11: Read, write and use decimals to one decimal place.

PowerPoint Lesson

The PowerPoint includes explanations, tasks and activities to help pupils to achieve the outcomes outlined above. Many opportunities are provided within the PowerPoint for pupils to develop their knowledge and understanding of decimals and to apply this knowledge to solving real-life word problems. It is ideal to introduce this component of the Entry Level 2 specification and for revision purposes.

Workbook

The 37-page workbook contains ten information/explanation pages, twenty-four worksheets, two progress checks, a certificate of achievement and answers.
