Please use this mat as a revision game to play in groups in the classroom. This should be printed on A3 paper and laminated so that it can be re-used. This means that students can write their initials on their square instead of using counters. The way the game is played can be manipulated. However, the main instructions are as follows (also included on sheet): This is to be played in groups. Each student has a counter. They roll a dice and move that number of places. They then have to tell or explain to the others in their group about that topic. If they manage 15 seconds, they get 1 points. If they manage 25 seconds, they get 2 points. If they get 35 or more seconds, they get 3 points. Please use a great revision resource for group work. Please also leave any feedback for future revision resources and how to improve them.

This is a revision game to get students to think about the processes and rules they must use in maths. This task is mainly aimed at GCSE level but can be adapted to use at lower school. Students must decide who is going first. The other picks up the correct colour card and starts to describe the word. They must describe what it is, the rules they might use or the processes they might take and then the other person must guess what the word is. They have 60 seconds for each word. If correct they move on, after rolling the dice. They must not use the word when describing or give any direct clues to what the word is. You will also need some dice and counters for the class. All other instructions included.

An Inspector Calls Quotation Cards

An Inspector Calls Quotation Cards There are 48 cards each with analysis to revise and learn for the English Literature Exam (20th Century - AIC option). They can be used for both KS3 and KS4. They are a good way for students to test each other on the analysis and learning of the quotations which is an extremely important part of the exam. The analysis on the cards is not the defining analysis, as always there are many different interpretations to all of the quotations for any text.

Home Front Lesson

This is a I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here style lesson based around the WW1 Home Front. The students will be groups completing tasks in a round robin to collect stars. The groups will the most stars will win a prize down to the teacher’s discretion. All resources for this lesson are included except the local area aspect. There is a sheet that needs to be filled in about your individual area to make the activity work. This can be a very enjoyable lesson and can work very well for students developing their history knowledge. I would aim this at higher level groups as it will need to be a snapshot of each aspect and not an in depth explanation note taking lesson unless you wish to use this over more than one lesson. Please leaver feedback for this lesson.
