I made this for our Year 11’s to use in the days prior to their AQA (9-1) GCSE Biology exam; there were used with both specialist and non-specialist teachers and can be completed independently. There are 4 booklets included in this resource: Triple Higher Triple Foundation Trilogy Higher Trilogy Foundation. Feedback would be appreciated.

B4 Organising Animal and Plants - B4.4 Helping The Heart iPads were given to the pupils to assist them with the 'research' section of the lesson, however can be completed without with a little guidance.
A lesson on Linnaeun classification, bionomial naming and evolutionary trees. Made using a composite of different materials from TES.
B11 Hormonal Coordination - B11.1 Principles of Hormonal Control Pupils were given iPads to help them find which endocrine organ produces what hormone (could give these to pupils instead)
Includes 2 videos, one 'fill in the blanks' and one worksheet. Also covers red shift and the doppler effect. Designed for a 100 minute lesson.
7 Rounds of questions followed by answers, made up of a mixture of my own resources and others I found on TES. Full quiz takes around 90 minutes, however if done quickly can be done in 60. Ideal for higher ability KS3 or any KS4.
Made for a middle ability Yr9 class - Full PowerPoint on how the synapses work complete with a card sort/cut and stick activity, finished with the effect of drugs on synapses.
