This resources has been created in an Special Educational Needs school for pupils who display moderate to severe learning difficulties. This resource has been used with a variety of SEND students particularly visual impairment, cognitive delay, physical impairment through CP, SLD and ASD. This topic would also work well with primary aged pupils. The resource includes 6 individualized lessons plans. They offer the students an introduction to the world of team building and orienteering. Activities with a parachute are included with lessons lasting 30-40 minutes (excluding changing). The 6 lessons have a focus comprised with practical activities. They are: Working together Problem Solving Leadership Cooperation Planning and Communication Consolidation of skills

This resource assesses pupils with an EHCP when they join a new school or education establishment. It records the level that a pupil is functioning at and can help a new school understand the support that they need going forwards (at their new school). This assessment can then be re-assessed year on year against the initial baseline to demonstrate progress against the baseline and the students entry into a new education establishment (also attached in this document). Always useful when Ofsetd or the LEA needs evidence of a pupils progress.

This resources is aimed at pupils with high complex needs and trying to use PE as a means to engage them. This would be suitable for pupils with multiple learning difficulties such as sensory impairments, global learning delay and physical disabilities. This resource is a 6 week block of lessons that slowly add complexity to familiar tasks over the course of the unit. The unit uses Ball games as a means to help engage the pupils in their physical development. The resource also includes an outline of the unit that could be submitted as part of a medium term plan.

This resource is for teachers in Special Schools delivering PE to complex needs pupils. Included is a unit outline, pupil outcomes, lesson plan and a record sheet for staff to use. The resource is aimed at developing the individual movement of complex needs pupils and their general physical literacy. Sessions are geared towards classes with high staffing where the teacher acts a facilitator to the learning taking place and helps to guide the staff working with individual pupils.

5 Very detailed individual lesson plans (Complete with cover sheets). These plans are very detailed and are created for 60 minute lessons. The plans include extensive learning objectives based around developing performance, knowledge and understanding. The theme for the first 4 lessons are around secret agents (James Bond etc) and were devised to work with a KS3 group. The fifth lesson is around Break Dancing. These lessons would work well for students doing their PGCE and/or NQT's.

6 Goalball lesson plans. Each lesson has a unique focus from blocking, to throwing to tactics. The sessions are planned for 40 minute lessons. The lessons are progressional, building in skills gradually whilst reinforcing skills from previous lessons. These lessons will work well for all pupils including those in a mainstream, particularly where there is a focus on embracing disability sport. Anyone teaching a unit on disability inclusion could use these lessons as a guide on what the basics of Goalball and how to teach them.

The lessons take a Sport Education focus to them with the aim of promoting the students to be more independent in the sessions and promoting them managing their own efforts. The resource has five very detailed individual lesson plans together with cover sheets (complete with 7 learning objectives and cross/curricular). Once the first five lessons have been delivered the format can be maintained for the rest of a term with the students becoming ingrained in the processes involved in the sessions.
