There is a listening exercise included. It ends with a brief introduction to “sein” and a table to fill in (included). A 19-slide PowerPoint presentation which starts with a Do Now activity covering German topics covered so far. It then introduces the Knowledge Organiser for this topic (included), and then introduces lots of school subjects in German and introduces the idea of stating opinions (with “Ich liebe”, “Ich mag (nicht)” and “Ich hasse”. There is then a sentence builder with intensifiers and reasons, and a couple of listening exercises to practise this. It then introduces the idea of saying what “he” and “she” like/don’t like and it ends with a writing exercise state opinions and reasons in the first and third person. There are then two listening exercises to practise the vocab, before a quick reminder of compound nouns and plurals.
