This revision poster is aimed at A-Level Law students who are revising for a test/exam. It prompts 3 key areas from: Offer and Acceptance/Consideration/Intention. Students can use to the pictures to help them remember the cases and legal rules. My students thoroughly enjoyed this as a revision activity. Print this out on A3 Poster Paper so students have plenty of room to come up with their ideas.

Unit 1 Changing Awareness of Crime Learning Outcome 1: Understand how crime reporting affects the public perception of criminality This case study activity sheet is a good reflection activity for students to complete once the first three assessment criteria have been covered. It allows students to apply their learning to real-life case studies.

The Criminology resources are aimed at Level 3 students. They cover: Learning Outcome 1: Understand the Process of Criminal Investigations AC1.1 Evaluate the Effectiveness of the Roles of Personnel involved in Criminal Investigations You will find a useful structure for students to follow on the attached power point. It really helps if you get students to complete the summer homework booklet also available on TES under Introduction to Unit 3.

The Criminology resources are aimed at Level 3 students. They cover: Learning Outcome 1: Understand the Process of Criminal Investigations AC1.2: Assess the usefulness of investigative techniques in criminal investigations The resources start with a peer assessment of AC1.1 (this acts as a nice starter activity and gets students thinking about the structure of their controlled assessment). The resources then show students how to “assess” the usefulness of investigative techniques through a class activity. The class activity consists of three case studies where students are expected to put themselves in the situation of an investigator (I printed the cases studies out on laminate and then got students to sit in groups and make posters). The students must decide what techniques would be better suited to the case at hand. This really helped my students to tackle AC1.2 with more confidence and they came out of the lesson with a clearer idea on how to actually “assess”. I have also included an instruction booklet that students can use as guidance for their practice controlled assessment. I tend to send the booklet power point to reprographics and they staple it into a booklet format for me :). My students like this as they have a clear idea of how to set their work out. This lesson is aimed at A Level students studying Contract Law. This lesson takes students through the below remedies with relevant case and legal principles: Damages Equitable Remedies Remedies under the CRA 2015

The resources are aimed at A Level Law students studying Contract Law and cover material needed for a general introduction to contract law and what legal ‘intention’ means. Included within these resources is a lesson, PP booklet students can fill either on -line (or you can print it out for them), key terms sheet and a case list. I have also included an A03 evaluation template that students can use once they have covered contract law. The essay questions require them to evaluate (any area could come up) so I find this a useful reflection activity.

Please find attached key notes aimed at Level 3 Law students. My students find this particular area of law difficult to remember so I have created these notes to help them re-call the key points from both Acts of Parliament. I have also included some key evaluation points to help them answer essay questions.

Ideal activity booklet for an end of topic/end of year activity for Year 7 on World War One. This could even be used as an extension activity for most able students. The booklet contains: question and answer activity/missing word paragraph/a commander message writing task/ A 'Norman Wilkinson' ship activity for students to colour and create their own camouflage onto.

This power point is what i use on open days to quickly run through with parents and potential students. It explains what Criminology is and how the course is broken down. I do a quick and fun “sample activity” at the end to give students an insight into the course. I have found this useful -rather than explaining to each person what Criminology is. Hope this helps!

I have included some example criticisms and students must come up with some of their own by completing the grids. I have also included some example exam questions.

Citizenship (GCSE) Edexcel Pearson The resources include: An introduction lesson for Theme B. This lesson introduces key concepts and ideas on what democracy is and what that means here in the UK. It helps to ease students into it before starting Topic 1. The lesson for Topic 1 includes information on Political Parties and Candidate Selection in the UK. A topic check-list so students can track their learning.

This resource contains a full lesson which cover the following learning aims: Appointment of the Prime Minister & Job Role When a new MP takes their seat The Opposition The Formation of the Government Holding the Government to account I have also included a quick starter quiz to re-cap the previous lesson topic.

This lesson covers everything required to understand Devolution at GCSE level. I have included examples so students can understand the way in which it works. Included in the power point is a past exam question and a structure to help students answer the source style questions. The exam questions can all be found on the exam board web-site but I have included one on here for free as it fits with the lesson and help structure. I have also included a quick reference sheet which can be found on the gov. website but again I have included on here for ease. Hope this helps.

This lesson resources are for for Topic 6-Parliament. The following learning objectives are covered in these materials: Understand the Organization of Parliament Describe the Key Role of Parliament Explain the Parliamentary Law Making Process There is also a task sheet I have created so that students can have a go at remembering the 8 stages of law making. Once I have covered the material, I normally get them to have a go at this under time constraints with music playing which they really seem to enjoy.
