Citizenship (GCSE) Theme B: Democracy in the UK. Topic 7: Devolution
This lesson covers everything required to understand Devolution at GCSE level. I have included examples so students can understand the way in which it works.
Included in the power point is a past exam question and a structure to help students answer the source style questions.
The exam questions can all be found on the exam board web-site but I have included one on here for free as it fits with the lesson and help structure.
I have also included a quick reference sheet which can be found on the gov. website but again I have included on here for ease.

This lesson resources are for for Topic 6-Parliament. The following learning objectives are covered in these materials:
Understand the Organization of Parliament
Describe the Key Role of Parliament

There is also a task sheet I have created so that students can have a go at remembering the 8 stages of law making. Once I have covered the material, I normally get them to have a go at this under time constraints with music playing which they really seem to enjoy.

Contract Law-A Level (OCR Spec)-Introduction to Contract Law-Legal Intention
The resources are aimed at A Level Law students studying Contract Law and cover material needed for a general introduction to contract law and what legal ‘intention’ means.
Included within these resources is a lesson, PP booklet students can fill either on -line (or you can print it out for them), key terms sheet and a case list.
I have also included an A03 evaluation template that students can use once they have covered contract law. The essay questions require them to evaluate (any area could come up) so I find this a useful reflection activity.

Before, teaching the specific assessment lessons, I wanted my students to have a general introduction lesson which introduced them to family law without the restrictions of assessment criteria. This worked really well as students then took a more thoughtful approach to learning and understanding the subject content when it came to later tasks.

Unit 4 Crime and Punishment-EXAM UNIT (New Spec) WHOLE UNIT BUNDLE
This is a bundle of all the teaching resources you would need for the teaching and learning of Unit 4 Crime and Punishment (the externally examined unit).
The resources provided are for Level 3 students studying Criminology (Eduqas/WJEC spec).
Each lesson contains a mixture of engaging tasks. The activities vary from case studies, scaffolding sheets, link to theorists, exam questions, homework and many other things.
I always do an introduction lesson for each unit and I find that this really helps to “set the scene” for what the students are about to learn. I have included these resources in the bundle.
Given the current nature of students learning from home, I have also created a STUDENT REVISION PACK that my students have found really useful. I have set them deadlines for each section so I can see that they are learning and revising from home. I have also set them exam questions and they have taken pictures of their timed essays and emailed them into me.
