A comprehensive covering letter and personal statement which I wrote during my recent job search.
Although it obviously needed to be adapted to suit the needs of each school that I was applying for, I found that having a ‘base’ letter was extremely useful. I was shortlisted for each job I sent this application to (and gained a headship)

A complete scheme of 10 lessons based around the story of BEOWULF. Written for a year 4 class, it is easy to adapt for year 5 or 6 as there is a strong emphasis on basic grammar skills in the planning.

A Primary school assembly, written and delivered to our school as we waited for the Ofsted call! This really helped children to understand how we keep them safe, including lots of ways that they are less likely to know about.
This really improved the pupil response in both our in-school pupil survey and for Ofsted when they eventually called in November 2023. We were graded good in all areas.
