Preparation: . Probably one of the most difficult PRACTICAL lessons to plan and execute, BUT it is doable! My suggestion: Choose a sunny day (as you will need to do this lesson on the playground). Bring in a variety of small/medium-sized plastic containers from home (about 10) and label them (1 - 10). Bring in lots of large buckets too … if you have a class of 30, you will need 8 buckets. You could ask the children to bring in some from home too! Arrange the small/medium-sized containers in a large hoop on the playground. Give each group of 4 children a bucket of water … YES, a bucket!! Don’t panic! Give each group a small and large measuring cylinder and a small and large measuring jug. . **Activity: ** .
