A collection of French colloquial expressions, ideal for lesson starters. (22 slides) Each slide contains an expression, an example of how to use it (related to GCSE topics) and a picture for pupils to try to guess its meaning. The translation of the expression also pops up. These slides can be used as displays or in the lesson to challenge higher ability pupils and encourage them to use higher level language in their writing or speaking work. Any feedback welcome :) PS: I am a French native speaker and was struggling with the English translation for some of them, any corrections would be appreciated!
