This is a 3 week plan using the picture book FArTHER by G Baker. The unit has all the planning and resources and questions to go with it. It develops grammar work, creative writing and poetry writing.

Stormbreaker - 4 weeks of planning and resources to go with it. Powerpoint quiz and fact files. There is also an orienteering activity which can be set up as a spy day and links to the book and the Brecon Beacon chapter. There is a missing chapter pdf and checklist criteria for the children to write their own missing chapters.

A 3 week unit of work including the planning and a powerpoint and a curriculum map linking themes to the story. Suitable for UKS2 but could be used in y4.

This is a presentation file that has questions and activities for the whole book chapter by chapter. It can be used as a whole class reading lesson or guided reading. Or as part of your english lesson. Each chapter has questions and there are extra activities and ideas at the end of the presentation. There are slides with the answers aswell to save you time. Suitable for y4 or upwards. There are questions themed around ERIC EXPLAIN, RETRIEVE,INTERPRET,CHOICE.
