Use this fractions poster to consolidate learning. Children to choose a fraction and then complete the circle of activities based around their chosen fraction: numerator, denominator, fraction as a shape, fraction as a quantity, written in words and the fraction needed to add to total 1 whole. My class loved this activity and often refer to their posters when recapping fractions.

I created this to use with my class during a lesson on fractions. I wanted them to identify fractions and order fractions in ascending order but wanted to create a way for them to do this which had meaning and was exciting. Therefore, I provided each pair of children with a bag of skittles which they then used to complete the worksheet. The children found this extremely engaging!

During this project, children will be designing their own chocolate product from start to finish. After carrying out market research, they will choose their target audience. They will then generate many ideas before finalising a brand name, logo, slogan, product and USP (unique selling point.) With this in mind, they will then create a final design for their product’s packaging. Once the product has been created (and tasted!) they will complete an evaluation of it.

This series of lessons teaching collage through art lessons. Throughout these lessons, children will: respond to the work of Henri Matisse create a collage based on ‘The Dance’ by Henri Matisse investigate and combine the visual qualities of materials to create a collage to respond to the facial images produced by the artist Francis Bacon to create my own distorted portrait collage to use collage to produce a response to Andy Warhol’s Pop Art

A fun activity where children can consolidate their learning and understanding on addition. I have created three differentiated game sheets. Taking it in turns, choose a calculation to complete. Work it out on a whiteboard and if you get the correct answer, you can place a counter over the calculation. The first person to get 4 counters in row horizontally, vertically or diagonally wins. Every child I’ve played this game with have really enjoyed it!

An engaging activity where children must complete the addition calculations using the column method to crack the code. The code is an answer to a joke. I have created three different versions of this to allow for easy differentiation in the classroom. Version A: Adding 2-digit numbers without carrying Version B: Adding 2-digit numbers with carrying Version C: Adding 3-digit numbers with carrying

This series of lessons teaching printmaking through 14 art lessons. Throughout these lessons, children will: use a roller and printing ink to experiment with mark making to use monoprinting to select colours and surfaces to develop ideas to record and reflect in sketchbooks to create animal print monoprints to use plasticine to produce a relief stamp to investigate African printmaking to create a relief print to use collograph blocks to create prints to plan a final piece based on the techniques learnt to complete my final piece

Included is a series of 10 English lessons based on The High Street by Alice Melvin. Throughout the lessons, children will learn about and apply their learning of nouns, adjectives, determiners, lists and rhyming words. Learning objectives covered in this series of learning are: To use the determiners ‘a’ and ‘an’ correctly. To write a list. To use commas in a list. To use adjectives to describe nouns. To write creatively. To review and edit my writing. By the end of the project, each child will have created their own version of The High Street zig-zag book. This pack included all of my lesson plans for these ten lessons as well as copies of each resource needed. I absolutely loved planning this and hope you enjoy the series of lessons.

Staff meeting used to introduce Zones of Regulation created by a SENDCO and Inclusion Coordinator of a Multi-Academy Trust. I have used this PowerPoint multiple times to introduce the Zones of Regulation to head teachers, class teachers and teaching assistants. I’ve received great feedback for this and all teachers have been inspired to create their own classroom displays. Simply edit the names and then print these cards off onto coloured paper of your choice and display as desired. This is a great way to monitor what your children are reading and for them to see which books each other are reading too. I will get the children to stick new post-it notes on top of old ones which will then create a reading-log in itself. Both myself and my TA’s have a card too as we want to join in the fun and the kids love seeing which books we’re reading!

This worksheet teaches that an adverb is a word that describes a verb, adjective or another adverb. It has a clear visual which teaches that there are 5 different types of adverbs: time (when?), place (where?), manner (how?), frequency (how often?) and degree (how much?) This worksheet has a range of sentences (written in cursive joined handwriting). The worksheet explains that the child needs to underline the adverb and tick whether it is a verb of time, place, manner, frequency or degree. My class really enjoyed this resource and understood it well.
