How the Resource Works
The word-level activities use a broad range of AR words to build pattern recognition. The reading passages, however, use only a small core of AR words. This controlled vocabulary means children can develop fluency without struggling through too many new words at once.
Using These Worksheets
Match the worksheet difficulty to your pupil’s reading ability, not their age. Some children will move through the easier levels quickly. Others will need longer at each stage. Both are appropriate. The aim is secure understanding before moving on.
