I have developed a project called Alpine Snow School Project - This project enables students to develop a wide range of skills by researching, developing a poster, presentation, excel spreadsheet tasks including SUM, MIN, MAX, Average, IF function, Lookup Function, Absolute as well as general ICT questions. This can be used for an assessment to identify knowledge already obtained or need obtaining.
I have used this as a mock exam in preparation for an ICT exam.
This took my my students 2 lessons to complete but you really do get an idea of what ICT skills they have.
