EYFS yearly planning

Reception planning for the year. Includes a simple yearly overview then a more detailed medium term plan for each half term, outlining the objectives for each week (six weeks per half term).

Also contains a separate medium term plan for expressive art and design, understanding the world and personal, social and emotional development, with objectives, vocab and suggested activities. This is the same objectives from the half termly medium term plans, but easier for subject leaders to track PSED, history, geography, science, art and DT.

There are loose themes, but not all areas of learning link to the theme, as we do not do topics. The focus on the plans in coverage and progression of the curriculum to allow children to meet the ELGs.

All documents are editable Microsoft Word so you adapt anything.

Music and maths not fully included as we use a scheme.
