Imperfect tense open ended sentence practice

Verbs included: -ar, -er, -ir , ser, ir, ver

For -ar, -er, -ir verbs Write an original sentence using the following guidelines: (1) Choose a clue word (in any order) from the word bank for every sentence, (2) Write the stem and the appropriate ending, (3) Add 2-3 words to expand on the sentence

Students will write 18 sentences (6 -ar, 6 -er, 6 -ir)

For ser, ir ver: Students will complete a verb conjugation table and answer 3 personal questions (one with each verb).

Page 1: -ar verb sentences / Page 2: -er verb sentences / Page 3: -ir verb sentences / Page 4: ser, ir, ver

This practice can be used for writing sentences when students first learn the imperfect tense. It can also be used for homework, entry or exit slip (broken up into sections), or as part of your sub plans.
