Isotopes and relative atomic mass

GCSE lesson introducing the concept of isotopes and using tiered activities to embed this. Leading into modeling of calculating relative atomic mass, with tiered practice following and option to expand into inverting these calculations to find percentage of isotopes for HPA pupils. Fully resourced, using ‘I do, we do, you do’ format to support explicit instruction from the teacher and regular checks for understanding to assist adaptive teaching.
