A fully-resourced, detailed and differentiated 1-2 hour PSHE lesson which serves as an introduction to pensions and why we need to think about stating to save for retirement at a relatively early age. The lesson breaks down the ways we can save explains national insurance and the type of pensions and invites students to examine how young earners manage their money.
This lesson best is suited to KS5 or KS4. There is nothing unsuitable for KS3, but you’d have to break down a lot of the concepts.
This lesson is editable, so easy to adapt for your own planning.
It is well-differentiated with three-level challenges for each task, contains a variety of activities, an hour long PowerPoint, a three page information pack, clips with differentiated questions, clear measurable LOs, new key-term introductions and other activities.
